Air fryer lamb chops create less of a mess with the same juicy, tender results as the oven-baked and pan-seared methods. Plus, they only take 10 minutes to prep and 10 minutes to cook.
Combine garlic salt, pepper, rosemary, paprika, liquid smoke, and olive oil in a medium bowl.
Dip both sides of each lamb chop into the oil mixture.
Place each lamb chop into the air fryer basket, make sure they are not touching.
Air fry at 400 F for 5 minutes. Flip each lamb chop over and cook an additional 5 minutes.
Remove from air fryer to a cutting board or platter and tent with foil. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
It’s best to bring the lamb chops to room temperature before cooking. Remove them from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before beginning.
Lamb loin chops are best enjoyed when they reach an internal temperature of 130F. This is considered medium-rare. Use an instant-read thermometer to gauge the temperature. Cook to 135-140F for medium. Do note that the chops will rise in temperature when you allow them to rest for around 5 minutes.
Store leftover lamb chops in an air-tight container kept in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Use the reheat function on the air fryer for warming them back up.
